Spice and Herb Detox Drink

Do you think your last week is a whole cheat week, and you have consumed way too calories🤔? Whether it’s a wedding or festive season, we willingly or unwillingly end up eating rich, heavy, and calorie laded meals. And in the end, it’s just repentance and nothing else, but at least that savorous meal was a thing to grab onto, wasn’t it😋? So if you, too, have such a tempting and delicious week, this post is just for you. Stay tuned to learn how to detoxify your body after heavy meals with a detox drink.

But let’s first understand what a detox drink is.

What is a Detox drink/Infused Water?

Detox water or Detox drink is Water infused with the flavors of herbs, fruits, or vegetables. Or a mix of ingredients. It’s sometimes referred to as fruit-infused or fruit-flavored Water when we add fruit to our detox water.

One can easily make detox water at home in lots of different ways. Use any combination of fruits, vegetables, and herbs per your preferences. The best thing is that it contains significantly fewer calories because it’s made by infusing flavor rather than juicing or blending the fruits.

Detox water is also used in weight loss plans and is a thing to carry while leaving for the gym, especially in place of high-sugar drinks like soda and fruit juice.

There are lots of benefits of Detox drink.

Here I will show you one of my favorite detox drinks that helps detox your body after a heavy & rich feast and aids in digestion, bloating, and other stomach-related issues if you have one. Being a foodie, I can’t skip the scrumptious feast all the time; I prefer to make this drink whenever I feel the meal is too calorie laded and rich.

The drink which I am talking about is a Spice and herb detox drink. It is infused with lemon, ginger, Mint leaves(pudina), carom seed(ajwain ) & fennel seed(saunf). And the concoction of all these above herbs and spices made it a super drink that aids digestion, flushes toxins from the body, and also helps in weight loss. So isn’t it a win-win drink for you?

Benefits of spice and herb drink:

All the ingredients added to this drink are a superfood for our body that not only helps digestion and bloating but also aids in losing weight and other health benefits.

Water

Water is our lifeline. We can’t imagine our life without Water. In fact, our body consists of approx 60% of water content. And if, for any reason, this water content drops, its repercussions can be severe, like a muscular cramp, hypertension, constipation, kidney stone, gallbladder stone, depression, etc. So it’s essential to keep us hydrated with water intake.

The benefit of Water for our body are:

  • Flushing toxins from our body
  • Aids in digestion
  • prevent constipation
  • Carry nutrition & oxygen to your cells
  • maintain healthy blood pressure
  • protect our organs & tissues
  • Regulate our body temperature
  • Cushion our joints and relieves pains.
  • Keep the electrolyte (sodium) balance in our bodies.

And if the drink is infused with tasty flavors, many people drink more Water. So Infusion makes the Water more appealing.
