Spize & Grillz.
As we all are aware of the fact that only God knew… when this pandemic will “End.” Our government has also started the unlocking phase. And now, slowly and slowly, everything will re-open. The present scenario states that we must adjust to this pandemic by taking requisite safety measures and precautions. The government has/will allow some cities to open restaurants with specific safety measures in this opening phase. Mumbai being a foodie junction and a favorite hub spot for food lovers, this city also never disappoints you in serving delicious and mouth-watering dishes. For food lovers, Mumbai is heaven, and flocks of restaurants spread from Mumbai to Navi Mumbai. One such restaurant which I love to visit again & again is Spize & Grillz
So, at the onset of the opening of restaurants, I decided to share one of my restaurants reviews lying in my Instagram archive. Today I would like to share my review of one of the restaurants in Navi Mumbai named Spize & Grillz.
We visited this restaurant just before this Covid-19 pandemic outburst. Well… it’s better to leave that topic 🙁 And let’s concentrate on the review as the name spells itself. If you are craving grilled and sizzler meals, you can opt for this restaurant, although there are other options also in Navi Mumbai. But that day, we decided to give it a try. 🙂
Starting from the ambiance, I would like to say it’s subtle & a bit gloomy. But, as there was not so much of a rush on that day. We quickly get the table even before a prior reservation. Small kids accompany us, but as it’s not jam-packed compared to other days, we don’t have to worry much about them, as we can easily watch them wandering. If I have to give a rating on its ambiance, I would like to give it a rating of 3/5
Now landing on food and taste. Overall the food is excellent. We have not gone for a more elaborated menu and stuck to a confined one.
The food we have tried is as follows: Chicken monchow soup – the taste is exquisite & I would recommend this. The soup ignited our hunger pangs, and then came the starter -We have chosen Chicken Gillafi seekh and Spize & Grillz Dum Kebab(their signature dish)– Gillafi seekh is very tempting and melts in the mouth. It has a very distinct flavor. And I think from now onward, and whenever I visit here again, it will be on my priority list :). Now talking about their signature dish, it’s also lovely and flavourful but more on the spicy side, so not preferable for kids. I would highly recommend Gillafi seekh starter for Non-veg lovers.
Since that day, we have made up our minds for some sizzling sizzlers😋… We ended up selecting a Mexican grilled sizzler as the main course and decided to give it a try. And up to our expectations… It was a total hit and lingered in our taste buds with its luscious taste. Also highly recommended
We have also ordered something less spicy for kids, i.e., jeera rice and dal tadka. It was just average. Lastly, we wrapped up some strawberry delight on a sweeter note. That was ice cream with some strawberry syrups drizzled over it and some chopped strawberries and nuts. But it tastes incredible, and that was recommended if you have a sweet tooth or kids accompany you…they just loved it. Delivery and Service were also quite decent.
Coming on the pricey side, I would say it was a bit more on the higher side.
So I would like to give this restaurant an overall rating of 4/5 🙂
So finally, I would recommend this to someone who resides in Navi Mumbai and wants to try other options as well, apart from their favorite spots.
