If you are in Paris right now and want to explore some of the tempting biryani in Paris, then you have landed on the right page. I am a big foodie and to satiate the taste buds I love to explore different restaurants and food corners.
Today’s post is about a fantastic place located in the heart of Gare du nord metro station, that serves different varieties of Tempting Biryani in Paris. Let’s first understand where Gare du Nord is and why it is famous.
About Gard du Nord
The Gare du Nord metro station is Located in the heart of the 10th arrondissement and a ten-minute walk from the Gare de l’Est metro station, It is also known as the 1st station in Europe for high traffic and the 3rd station in the world as it welcomes more than 220 million visitors per year from the capital and northern France via the Paris–Lille railway, as well as to different international destinations like Belgium, Germany, Netherlands, and the United Kingdom. This place is also an Asiatic commercial hub, where one can explore different Asian shops like Indians, Srilankan, Bangladeshi, etc. From Food to clothing, kitchen items to other utility things you can easily find them here if you are having trouble finding them in other parts of Paris.
Be you a tourist or one residing in Paris, it’s the best place to treat yourself to some appetizing platters. And if you are in the iconic tourist spot Eiffel tower, it’s just 5 km.
Cafe Sundarban
There are a number of restaurants and eateries that serves varieties of Asian food from starters, main course, desserts, and even street food like panipuris. But this time we have been to a very popular Cafe Sundarban. It is located at 151 rue la Fayette 75010 Paris, France, and is known for its Bangladeshi and Indian dishes.
Varieties served in Cafe Sundarban
Its specialties are an extensive range of Non-veg dishes like Biryanis, Kormas, Seafoods, etc. They also serve different types of desserts and also my favorite misthi Doi. Some of its top-rated Biryanis are Mutton dum biryani, Chicken dum Biryani, and Kachii biryani, But one can also find other Indian foods like steamed rice, different types of Pulaos, Rotis, different curries, desserts, etc.

Last time I explored this gem place while we went to Gare du Nord for our Indian grocery shopping. And we ended up bingeing on their delicious food and also carrying food parcels back home. If we talk about their food it’s too good. The Biryanis are light-textured and less spicy, so even kids can have them easily. Their other dishes are equally good. Quality-wise also, I would like to rate them on a higher scale. Going to its ambiance, it’s not a fine dining restaurant, it’s an average one. You can dine in and take away as well. I would put it a bit low on the ambiance part. And now comes the most interesting part that’s the Price side. Oooh, I must say if compared with the quality of food it’s really cost-effective for such scrumptious dishes.
So this is my detailed review of one of my favorite food spots which I have explored in Paris. If you asked me whether I will visit this place or get takeaway again or Not? I will definitely be going to visit this place whenever I got a chance. And I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves Asiatic foods. If you know some more food places which serve delectable dishes do message me in the comments. I love to read your comments and next time we will try that specific food spot.
