Make veggie pizza from Puff pastry pizza recipe
Most of us have eaten pizza and tried to bake it at home too. They can be served as main course as well as starters. There are numerous ways of fresh baking pizzas, be it from scratch or getting a ready-to-eat base at our convenience. And in today’s post, I will share one recipe i.e. such, puff pastry pizza recipe, where we have not baked it the traditional school way but tried a different base than a ready-to-eat base, which is pâte feuilletée. Pâte feuilletée or puff pastry sheet seems a bit bizarre for pizza, but trust me, it tastes heavenly.
I have tried Herta’s brand to make pizza. This brand also provides pâte pizza, giving you a regular pizza taste. The toppings I have used to prepare this pizza are basic veggies like onions, green bell pepper, tomatoes, cottage cheese chunks, and green & black olives.
Main ingredients for Puff pastry pizza recipe
- 1 pack pâte feuilletée
- 1 medium onion sliced
- 1 medium tomato sliced
- 1 medium bell pepper cut in juvenile
- 1 small bowl of chunk cottage cheese
- To make the sauce: Tomato sauce, chilly sauce, soya sauce, vinegar, crushed garlic. crushed peppercorns, chilly flakes, oregano, and black salt.
- Chilly flakes
- Oregano
- Mozzarella & Cheddar cheese
Preparation for Puff pastry pizza recipe
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C
- Take one pack of pâte feuilletée
- Place it on greased baking paper on a pizza pan
- Apply sauce over the pâte feuilletée and put a layer of cheese over it.
- Now place the toppings of your choice and again put leftover cheese. On top, sprinkle with chilly flakes & oregano.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes, and your melt-in-mouth pizza is ready.

Note: To make pizza sauce, In a bowl, add 2 tbsp tomato sauce, 1 tsp chilly sauce, 1/4 tsp soya sauce, 1/4 tsp vinegar, crushed black pepper, crushed garlic, chilly flakes, oregano & black salt. Mix well, and your homemade pizza sauce is ready. You can also use store brought pizza sauce.
